Basing its decision on the words in Laurie Throness' quote from the Sep 6, 2017 issue of the Campbell River Mirror, about teaching children “to accept and cherish their body shape and biological characteristics just as they are,” and increasing support for independent schools “to provide … greater competition for our public system”, the Social Mavrik Federation endorses him in the 2020 snap election.
